weltkartezentralWer meinen Blog hier ein bisschen verfolgt hat in den letzten Jahren, der weiß ja schon, dass ich den großen Playern im Markt der sozialen Netze und Online-Geschichten einigermaßen vorsichtig, um nicht zu sagen kritisch gegenüber stehe.

Ja, ich pflege Accounts bei einigen der sozialen Netze, bei g+ mittlerweile stark reduziert, dann noch einen bei Diaspora (was sicherlich nicht zu den „großen“ zählt) und eben bei Twitter. Meinen Facebook-Account, den ich mal eine Zeit lang hatte, habe ich schon vor längerem gelöscht und friste so ein Dasein ganz ohne diese blaue Seite, auf der sich alle immer so treffen. Auswahl_103Anlässlich dieses kleinen Dialoges rechts, wollte ich mich auch mal äußern…

Ja, die arme [Firmenname-Eintragen]-Olga sitzt in einem Callcenter, kriegt 6,50 die Stunde (wenn sie überhaupt in Deutschland sitzt und nicht irgendwo anders, wo es deutlich weniger sein kann) und ackert da ihren Kram runter, puffert sicher auch mal Frust von Kunden oder potentiellen solchen und das ist schrecklich böse, wenn man auf diesen Menschen noch stellvertretend für die Firmen dahinter rumhackt. Jolla Tablet heading for 1.5 Mio and Lastucase introduced

One week left for the faboulus Jolla tablet Campaign on Indiegogo and we are damn‘ close to 1.5 Mio. USD which will upgrade all Jolla Tablets to being compatible with up to 128GB SD Cards instead of 32GB originally specified.

In addition, famous lastucase, who are well known for nice Jolla flip cases and wood-other halfs already and support TOHKBD project also, have introduced a functional case (follow link for pictures) for the tablet, which again comes with a nice wooden back and, apart from protecting the screen when closed, allows for two positions as a stand (upright and landscape of course).

As said above, there is one week left to go and I am sure the Jolla Tablet is worth to be supported. I would be happy, in case you haven’t already done, if you’d just go to the project page and support the Jolla tablet Campaign on Indiegogo.

Jolla tablet can get better…

After a furious start which brought more than 1.2 Mio. USD already, Jolla decided to add some intermediate targets which will bring some desirable upgrades to the Jolla tablet.

First goal will be reached at 1.5 Mio. USD and will increase SD Card compatibility from now 32GB max. to then 128GB max.

Next goal will be reached at 1.75 Mio. USD and will bring the split screen mode from software-side (I hope and trust this will be in any case added later if this target is not reached).

Last goal will be reached at enormous 2.5 Mio. USD and would bring an optional upgrade to 3.5G mobile connectivity for an additional 30 USD price.

The above are all from the most supported suggestions from together.jolla.com and show, how much Jolla is listening. Apart from that also many other ideas are already discussed there and I am sure they will bring a great tablet experience.
